NYSNA nurses and healthcare professionals are committed to delivering the healthcare New Yorkers deserve—access to quality care at equitably funded hospitals with enough professional nursing staff. We advocate for safe staffing for every patient and healthcare for all. Join us for two days of education, solidarity, advocacy and fun at a delegated convention that will set the direction and priorities for our organization.
TRANSPORTATION: The Sheraton Times Square (811 7th Ave., New York, NY 10019) is accessible by Subway Lines B/D/E to 7th Ave station, Subway Line 1 to 50th St station, Subway lines N/Q/W/R to 57th St/7th Ave station and by Buses on 6th/7th/8th Avenues or to 11th Ave & 34th St. Metro North trains connect with Shuttle Subway to 42nd St to Subway 1; LIRR trains connect with Subways E/1.
Buses for NYSNA members will be available (if minimum attendance # is met) from Staten Island, part of Queens, Long Island and Hudson Valley. Amtrak and plane travel will be available for Upstate region.
HOTEL INFORMATION: If overnight stay is needed, you must reserve a room at the Sheraton Times Square (811 7th Ave., New York, NY 10019) by calling the reservations line at 888-627-7067 or 800-325-3535. Be sure to mention NY State Nurses or NYSNA to get the negotiated rates of $359 single/double occupancy, $389 triple rate and $419 quad rate (rates do not include 14.75% tax and $3.50 surcharge). Reservations are accommodated on a first come, first served basis. The NYSNA negotiated discount rates will be honored through November 5, 2018, provided there is availability.

The New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
NYSNA is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
Participants will be eligible to receive up to 20.5 continuing nursing education contact hours through ANCC and other nationally recognized nursing credentialing bodies.
